I see free time somewhere in my future!!!!!

Today is my last Monday EVER at my job!! Pretty excited about it. I am nervous that somehow time is going to stop and I will be stuck in this week forever! I have a lot of things due before I leave for good. I am hoping to hear from the county that I interviewed with soon. I have another interview scheduled Thursday, this week for a Summer/part-time teaching position at Huntington Learning Center. We will see what happens. I wanted to post a few crafts that I did throughout this crazy year, since soon I will have time to start them back up again!

This is one of the things that I gave Erik for Valentine's Day. It has 100 romantic way to show "I love you". I made it with my cricut. This is a "diaper pizza" I made for a friend's baby shower. Super cute idea, and EASY! Special delivery for the Taft's!!

Beaded bobby pins. I have never really worked with beads and wires before, but it is so much fun, and addictive!!

And lastly, this picture goes along perfectly with my theme of FREE TIME! Video game, massage and home-made pizza!

Shopaholic??

We last heard that we would be closing on our house on or before June 15th. Since the news, Erik and I decided it would be best to not spend money on unnecessary things until after closing since there is no way of really knowing exactly how much $$$$ we will be expected to  bring to closing as well as how much $$$$ we will have to spend to get the house up and running. So far it has been a week and I feel like I am weaning myself off of a drug!!! I had no idea how attached I was to shopping. I have always been a bargain shopper, so it is not like I spend loads of money (we're talking yard sales and outlets here). I quickly realized that I spend almost all of my free time shopping, not that I have a lot of free time *LuCkiLy* :) I guess this is a necessary change that needs to be made with or without the new house! So until I win the Lottery.... I will be occupying my free time with things that do not cost money for example SCRAPBOOKING!!! I have so much stuff I could go for months without having to go to a craft store. Any other ideas of entertaining things that do not cost money??
Here are some random pictures of a craft did semi-recently. They are onesies with iron-ons on them (baby shower gift). Just a fun idea if anyone wants to steal it, I won't tell.
Well I am off to get my craft on :)

Let The Count-Downs Begin!!!!

Seven days left of my school year and counting!! This year has been extremely difficult. I have had VERY trying students along side with putting an offer on our first home in OCTOBER and still waiting to close on it!!! Our closing date is May 23rd, but I am not counting on it at all. It is better not to get my hopes up. I have learned that the hard way. Erik and I have both decided to stick it out as long as it takes to get THIS house. We are still happy with our decision although we have probably come upon every road block imaginable along the way. I exagerate a little :) I have resigned from my current teaching job in hopes of getting a job closer to our new home. I had an interview yesterday, and should hear about it within the week. NeRvOus........ Erik is taking the Summer off from school, and is planning to "comp" out of some classes in the the mean time, which would be wonderful and cheaper!!
